Maggie and Derek chose Meadow View Gardens in Roseneath (which is outside Coburg Ontario) for their wedding venue and it was such a lovely place!
I have known Maggie since she we were kids, meeting and bonding through our love of figure skating, which has continued into adulthood, especially for Mags. Hearing that she found her love, Derek, and then being asked to photograph their love story was amazing and I was so honoured to capture their day.
The day was sprinkled with so many touches of them. From a beautiful ceremony, featuring Derek’s two nephews who danced a flawless Grass Dance, to Maggie spending the morning at a rink, skating with all her best friends.
The day was intimate and personal and so totally representative of both Maggie and Derek.
